Embedded Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
• Troubleshoot & Test developed firmware.
• Review code and design.
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Integrate and validate new product designs
• Provide post production support
• Interface with hardware design and development

Requirements

• Must be ready to work in challenging environment
• Min. 2 years of working experience in firmware development 8 bit, 16 bit & 32 bit micro controller/ micro processor
• Should have a programming experience in embedded C or C++
• Should have sound knowledge about RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet etc.
• Should have a experience of working with Microchip, Reneasas micro controller
• Should have a knowledge about use of Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, function generator, spectrum analyzer etc.
• Should have knowledge about CAPA and various failure analysis methods.
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
• Strong communication, documentation and writing skills.
• Candidate should have a BE (EC), MSC (electronics) or equivalent degree.
